Shimokitazawa is a trendy laid-back suburb located just beside from the heart of Tokyo.

Called "Shimokita" by the locals, this former farming town has reinvented itself while maintaining an authentic connection to its roots. Here you can find vintage clothing stores,and retro culture.

About the tour

 

The topic of this tour is Vintage & Tradition.

We'll visit..
‣Local shrine and unique temple with historical explanation, also guide will demonstrate the traditional way of worship .
‣Stores where they sell retro Japanese goods which you cannot find in most of the big souvenir shops(ex. souvenir store in Airport).
‣ Kimono stores which is a traditional Japanese clothes store.
‣Traditional Japanese food.

In addition,  I will show you some unique hidden spots.

MEETING POINT:

Shimokitazawa station south-east exit. (Keio Line, Odakyu Line)

From Haneda Airport.

One hour by train to Shimokitazawa Sta.

From Narita Airport.

One hour 45min by train to Shimokitazawa Sta

From Shinjuku Sta. 

Take Odakyu Line to Shimokitazawa Sta. Around: 8-12min

From Shibuya Sta.

Take Keio-Inokashira Line to Shimokitazawa Sta. Around: 3-7min
